Five of my favorite recipes using 5 ingredients or less!

As I said in my previous blog, “Not all calories are created equal” I am always brainstorming and meal planning to provide natural, nutritious food for our family! Here are five of our favorite recipes using 5 ingredients or less, so easy and so delicious!

“Banana-rama Pancakes”

2 bananas
2 eggs
½ cup oats
¼ tsp cinnamon


Mix all ingredients together really well and fry in coconut oil. Yields 5 pancakes. YUMMY!

“Cauliflower toast”

2 cups riced cauliflower
2 eggs
Salt to taste

Mix it all up and fry in Avocado Oil, Olive oil or Red Palm oil. Pair with a sunny side up egg in the morning for breakfast!

“Overnight Oats”

1 cup raw oats
1 cup milk or yogurt of your choice
2 teaspoons of chia seeds
Cinnamon
Top with Berries or nuts of choice

Put all the ingredients in a mason jar, stir up, put in the fridge and the next morning everything “cooks” and expands and you have yourself the tastiest oatmeal.

“Almond Bombs”

1 cup almond butter
Handful of cocount shreds
Handful of granola
Handful of wheat germ
Handful of carob chips

Put all ingredients in the food processor and pulse a few times then roll into balls, pop them into the fridge or freezer and you have yourself a high protein delicious snack!

“4th of July Smoothies”

1 banana
1 cup of cauliflower (I steam it then freeze it for smoothies, makes it easier for your body to digest)
1 cup milk of choice + ice
(Blend these for the white layer, set aside in three bowls)
1 cup of strawberries added to white
(Red layer)
1 cup blueberries added to white
(blue layer)
